The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours survivors while raising awareness & encouraging dialogue about the intergenerational impact of residential schools on Indigenous children, families & communities.

Al-Pac is guided by Call to Action 92 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Report, including a call to provide opportunities for our leaders and team members to learn about the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, including the history and impact of residential schools.

On September 30th, we will fly our flags at half-mast to commemorate those lost to residential schools and honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and we encourage our team members to wear orange to honour the survivors of residential schools.
