Through our partnership with Portage College, we offer two $1,000 scholarships each year. The scholarships are available to Portage College students who are enrolled in full-time studies. The scholarship is awarded to one student in each of the following groups:
Group A
Accounting Technician
Business Administration Certificate or Diploma
Office Administration
Emergency Medical Responder
Emergency Medical Technician
Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
Group B
Natural Resource Technician
Apprenticeship Electrician
Heavy Equipment Operator
Power Engineering 4th or 3rd Class
Apprenticeship Steamfitter/Pipefitter
Apprenticeship Welder
To be considered for the scholarship, students must meet all of the following criteria:
Be involved in extracurricular activities.
Maintain a high academic standing.
Grew up or currently live in the local community for a minimum of 5 years (100 km radius of the Millsite).
