National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities, acknowledges intergenerational impacts, and ensures that public commemoration of the history of residential schools remains a fundamental component of the reconciliation process.

Al-Pac works with Indigenous communities to build long-term and lasting relationships based on a foundation of respect and understanding. In these efforts, we are guided by Call to Action 92 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Report, which includes a call to provide opportunities for our leaders and team members to learn about the history of Indigenous Peoples, including the history and legacy of residential schools.

On September 30, we will be flying our flags at half-mast to recognize the children lost to residential schools and honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
