Ethics and Reporting Concerns
Alberta-Pacific strives to conduct work in the highest legal and ethical fashion with our team members, the communities within our Forest Management Agreement area, landowners adjacent to our millsite, members of the general public, contractors and suppliers.
Al-Pac team members are obligated to report any suspected violations of the company Code of Conduct that they witness or hear from another party. We encourage parties outside the company to inform us if they have a concern of a general nature or suspect any violations of ethics by our team members or contractors.
Our company uses two hotlines; ClearView Connects, a web and telephone-based system available to the public and our team members on a 24/7/365 basis, and ; Fairlinks, the Hokuetsu Kishu Paper overseas web and e-mail based system available to the public and our team members on a 24/7/365 basis. This method of reporting concerns allows team members, contractors and third parties to anonymously and confidentially report incidents of wrong doing, as well as other issues and concerns. Al-Pac is committed to ensuring all submissions are received and addressed in a fair and timely manner.
